oviform, painted with mothers and children in interiors within oval gilt panels issuing scrolls, the reverse with rural building in landscape, on a dark blue ground, applied with gilt-metal covers, scroll handles, stems and square bases each supported by four feet -- 11½in. (29.2cm.) high, 19th century (wear, one with loose handles)
