With Gothic arcaded central cornice over glazing bars in a mixture of the Gothic, Chinese and neoclassical taste, enclosing nine adjustable shelves as well as pigeon holes and small drawers in the flanking sections, the secretaire drawer with diamond-shaping stringing and hollow-cornered banding, with typical fitted interior behind a gilt-tooled green leather writing surface, the cupboard doors with oval and hollow-cornered crossbanding and criss-cross or diamond stringing, enclosing, respectively from left to right: two adjustable shelves, two trays and a bank of five graduated mahogany drawers
