A WHITE JADE BOWL AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The deep, tapering sides of the bowl and the domed cover are carved in low relief with an archaistic band, on the bowl below the out-curved loop handles, and on the cover below a petal border that surrounds the base of the circular handle. The rims are carved with bands of key fret. The semi-translucent stone is of even tone.
5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) wide across handles, wood stand
