A WELL-CARVED WHITE JADE PEACH-FORM BRUSH WASHER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The brush washer is in the form of a large peach borne on a leafy branch that is carved in high relief across the base and around the sides to the rim where it is carved in openwork and shown blossoming beside a bat, its outstretched wing spanning the spout. The stone is semi-translucent and well polished.
4 ½ in. (11.5 cm.) wide, box
