A MINIATURE BLUE AND WHITE 'MELON' JAR
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The tapering body is divided into six lobes, each decorated in shades of cobalt blue with fruiting melon vines below the short waisted neck. The recessed foot is of conforming outline.
2 ½ in. (6.3 cm.) high
Provenance
Reverend Isaac Taylor Headland Collection (1859-1942), and thence by descent within the family.
