A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE MOLDED 'LOTUS POND' ROULEAU VASE

The body is decorated with a delightful scene of various aquatic creatures molded in relief including mandarin ducks, various types of fish, shrimp, crabs and water bugs in a lotus pond amidst scattered lotus flowers and leaves, all against a pale turquoise ground with swirls picked out in black. The neck is molded and enameled with various birds in flight above flowering branches and pierced garden rocks against a bright yellow sgraffiato ground.
