QAJAR IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Opaque pigments heightened with gold and ink on paper, each depicted kneeling, richly clothed and adorned, with drop shaped identification medallion, Nadir Shah in full regalia with mace and crown, each within yellow and blue frames with floral designs, within black and gold rules, the borders with interlocking floral tendrils, framed and glazed
Each 7 ¾ x 4 ½in. (19.5 x 11.4cm.)
