In the typical coco-de-mer shape, the engraved decoration depicting two seated elders smoking a qalyan flanking a calligraphic lobed medallion with three lines of nasta'liq script, a smaller such medallion below, on dense scrolling floral ground, the sides with elongated calligraphic lobed cartouches in similar script, a register of scrolling tendrils below, the base with a central foliated quatrefoil within concentric gold-damascened scalloped medallions issuing two palmettes to the base, with steel cut suspension ring
