On chemistry and dyes, Arabic manuscript on paper, 11ff. plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 19ll. of sepia maghribi script arranged in two columns, titles in larger red or blue script, some verses framed by small yellow medallions, occasional marginal notes, with later added notes at beginning and end, in reused Ottoman stamped morocco binding
