Arabic manuscript on paper, 385ff. plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 13ll. of large black naskh script, with red roundel verse markers, sura headings in red within polychrome cartouches issuing a palmette into the margin, polychrome marginal medallions, opening bifolio possibly a later replacement, followed by a bifolio decorated with 'carpet' illumination in polychrome, colophon signed and dated and indicating the place of copy as 'Balibani' (?), in repaired tooled brown morocco binding
