AN EMBELLISHED JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE
THE BOTTLE, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911); THE EMBELLISHMENT, JAPANESE, TSUDA FAMILY, EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The bottle of rounded form is embellished on the front and reverse with soapstone and lacquer. It is decorated with a continuous scene of two elegant ladies and their attendant in leisurely pursuits amidst flowering trees and rocks.
