A GROUP OF EIGHT SOAPSTONE SEALS AND A SOAPSTONE CARVING OF A MYTHICAL BEAST
Comprised of eight soapstone seals of varying sizes and materials and a soapstone carving of a recumbent mythical beast. a furong square seal carved with a pair of chilong on top and a poetic inscription on the seal face and on one vertical side, followed by a signature of Chen Dancheng (1919-2009); a siping furong seal with an inscription on the seal face, with one vertical side carved with the signature of Shouxian and dated to wuzi cyclical year; and a qingtian soapstone oval seal with a four-character inscription on the seal face.
