A GE-TYPE GLAZED 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' VASE
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The vase is well potted with a compressed globular body moulded above and below the shoulder with chrysanthemum petals, rising to a slightly tapering neck moulded with bowstring bands. It is covered with a fine network of crackles in imitation of Song Ge wares, the foot is covered with a dark brown wash.
