A FINE FAMILLE VERTE BOWL
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bowl is finely enamelled on the exterior with a procession of Daoist Fairies, one riding in a cart drawn by a mythical beast, followed by other fairies and a deer in a landscape. An apocryphal Chenghua six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle is on the base.
5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diam.
