THE VASE MING DYNASTY (1368-1644), WITH A QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The vessel is intricately carved with two cylindrical vases decorated with dense archaic motifs. They are adjoined by a phoenix with its wings outspread and fanned tail protruding onto the reverse side, standing atop a winged bear recumbent at the base of the vases. The stone is of dark green tone.
