Lot Essay

we have coined this name which was previously only recored from an example in the L'Odeon book in 1976 on a solitary Conical teapot. This full set is dated 1929 and represents an early elaboration on the geometric theme. Presumably her first intention was to put geometric patterns on such geometric shapes, and this represents a rare example of this before landscapes and abstracts superseded it
