EXTREMELY RARE NOVEL BY ONE OF THE FEW FEMALE WRITERS OF GOTHIC LITERATURE. Summers p.303; ESTC N9105 reporting only 4 copies: BL, New York Society, Rice University, and University of Virginia. We have been unable to trace any copy selling at auction in the past 40 years (ABPC/RBH).
