JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The dish is elaborately decorated to the exterior with colourful lotus flowers bearing the character fu for 'happiness', separated by further floral sprays, leafy scrolls, small peaches, and gilt wan characters. The interior is painted with a central roundel depicting branches of lingzhi, nandina, narcissus and roses.
