Not in original cartons. Scuffed capsules, some corroded. Badly bin-soiled labels, badly damaged. Levels: twenty-two 1.5cms, four 2cms, one 3cms, two 3.5cms, two 4cms below base of corks.
Tasting note: Lively colour. Aromatic nose of dried fruits, old wood and forest floor. Intense and in a remarkable good condition for its age. Soft elegant taste of a classic well aged light styled pinot noir wine. Fairly rich with sweetish fruit still on the taste. A pleasant surprise, clearly the excellent cellar conditions have ensured this 53 year old Auxey to be most enjoyable. February 2015 E.V.
