SIEGFRIED SASSOON (1886-1967)
A one-page autograph letter of 9 lines, signed, from Heytesbury House, Warminster, Wiltshire, 1st Noveber 1957, to Mr. Deval, discussing Trollope: "I suppose I'd better have the Sadleir copy of Framley P. as it is such a good one. I find Trollope so much pleasanter to read in the original editions ... If you have any other good print Trollopes I should like to hear of them" (creased on fold, some soiling to verso).
