A PAIR OF SILVER WIRE-INLAID BRONZE 'GARLIC-HEAD' VASES
LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
Each vase is cast with a sinuous chilong spiralled around the neck. The vases are inlaid in fine silver wire to the body, one with flowering prunus branches, the other with bamboo. Both vases have silver-wire shisou marks to the bases.
