A PAIR OF BLACK WOOD CHAIRS
19TH CENTURY
Each chair has a curved toprail carved with ruyi and cloud scrolls. The straight backsplat is pierced and carved with auspicious symbols, the apron with archaistic scrolls. The square legs are supported on scroll-form feet.
