A PAIR OF MOULDED LOBED CELADON-GLAZED JARDINIÈRES
QIANLONG INCISED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Each has lobed sides rising to a flattened rim and is supported on five ruyi-head terminals. The exterior is decorated with five moulded panels enclosing stylised lotus heads. A leafy scroll is visible on one rim. Both jardinières are covered in a pale celadon glaze shading to a paler tone in the raised areas.
The larger 8 ¾ in (22.3 cm.) diam.
