A STUDY COLLECTION OF CELADON AND QINGBAI CERAMICS
SONG-MING DYNASTY (AD 960 - 1644)
The group comprises an olive-green-glazed ribbed jar with carved and incised petal-form designs and five protrusions to the shoulder; a small foliate-rim dish supported on the back of a Buddhist lion on a plinth, also carved and incised and with an olive-green glaze; two carved and incised celadon-glazed foliate-rim dishes; a Buddhist lion censer and cover with a bluish-green glaze and a shallow qingbai bowl with unglazed rim.
The largest 8 ¼ in. (21 cm.) high
