A SET OF FOUR YELLOW-GLAZED 'DRAGON' DISHES
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS, PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY
Each dish is incised to the interior with a central roundel enclosing an upright dragon chasing a flaming pearl, encircled by two further dragons and pearls. The backs are incised with a band of waves around the foot. Each dish is covered in a rich yellow-ochre glaze stopping neatly around the foot rim.
9 3/8 in. (23.8 cm.) diam.

The Collection of Baron Léon (1866-1932) le Maire de Warzée d'Hermalle, and his wife Dorothy Davis.
Thence by descent to the current owner.
