A CARVED AND PIERCED INSCRIBED PALE CELADON JADE PLAQUE
18TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved to one side with a female immortal carrying a peach on a tray, standing with a phoenix beside her. The reverse is decorated with a long poetic inscription beside bamboo. Both scenes are flanked by archaistic kui-dragon scrolls. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet areas.
