A WHITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE

The bottle is carved in low relief to one side with a tiger below pine and to the other side with a fish emerging from water below a moon surrounded by ruyi-form clouds. The sides are carved with two archaistic animal handles.
2 ¼ in. (5.7 cm.) high, stopper, wood stand
Provenance
The private collection of a European banking family, acquired prior to the 1950s.
