AN CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CENSER AND COVER, FANGDING
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The censer is supported on four dragon-form legs and decorated to the turquoise ground with taotie masks divided by raised flanges. The rim is applied with two upright handles and the cover is surmounted by a gilt-bronze finial in the shape of a Buddhist lion with a brocade ball.
