A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL AND GILT BRONZE STAND
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The base of the stand is wired and enamelled with lotus scrolls, supported on intricate ruyi scroll form feet, all below a mid section formed from gilt-bronze openwork archaistic kui-dragon scrolls and bats surrounding a central shou medallion. The top of the stand is of semi-circular form, designed to support a large bi disc.
