GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The bowls are decorated and gilt to the exterior with four character roundels reading wanshou wujiang that may be translated as 'Ten thousand birthdays without end', all reserved on a ground of scrolls, waves and swastikas. The interiors with five bats surrounding a central shou character. The covered bowl is similarly decorated.
The larger 7 5/8 in. (19.5 cm.) diam.
