PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF ROSAMOND BERNIER Vogue’s first European features editor and the founder of L’Oeil, Rosamond Bernier established friendships with some of the leading artists of the 20th century, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Fernand Léger, Joan Miró, Max Ernst and Alberto Giacometti. Her acclaimed lectures at The Metropolitan Museum of Art routinely sold out months in advance over her thirty-year speaking career. Christie’s is honored to present three works from Mme Bernier’s distinguished collection, all of which were dedicated and gifted to her by the artists who were her personal friends.
