Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 4/10/06, leather wallet, literature, setting pin, fitted electrical winding presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2006 in platinum with slate gray dial, sword-shaped indexes in white gold and luminescent coating, and its subsequent sale on 25 April 2006.

Purchased by its present owner in 2006, this watch has never been offered in public before and is preserved in very good, close to new overall condition.

Introduced in 2006 with enormous success, reference 5960 is distinguished by the iconic "bull's eye" chronographic counter at 6 o' clock and its large yet very elegant case design. The present example, offered with all of its accessories and in excellent condition, belongs to the very first batch of "fifty-nine-sixty" produced, which featured movement numbers starting from 3'500'000. Consequently, this is the 400th 5960 made.
