The present watch is a fine representative of Tudor's celebrated Submariner family, distinguished by its very good and original overall condition and the attractively bleached bezel.
Reference 9411, Tudor's last Submariner model, was launched in 1973. With the exception of the new calibre 2784 with 25 jewels it was identical to its predecessor. It is part of Tudor's iconic "snowflake" series, characterized by the unusual shape of the hands and numerals.
As early as the 1960s until the mid-1980s, Tudor diver's watches were the brand of choice of many armed forces, particularly certain units of the French Marine Nationale, the US and the Argentine Navy.
