J.F. Morel. A very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel openface keywound verge watch
This lot is offered without reserve. The following two lots, 179 and 180, are fine examples of watches featuring a so-called "paillon" decoration. The very thin gold paillons or flakes arranged under translucent green enamel create simulate engine-turning, a very unusual ornamental style.
