Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with enamel dial in 1892 and its subsequent sale on 8 August 1893. The initials SPN have since been removed from the case back.

This watch is preserved in very good original overall condition and furthermore believed to be fresh to the market.

A similar watch is illustrated in Patek Philippe Museum - Patek Philippe Watches Volume I, p. 351.
