With Patek Philippe black crocodile leather pouch and cardboard box. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, black painted Roman numerals in 1976 and its subsequent sale on 17 August 1977.

The present "Ellipse" is believed to be the only example of this reference in white gold and retailed by the distinguished Beyer Chronometrie known to exist to date.

Reference 874 was in production from 1976 to 1991 in yellow or white gold. It is the pocket counterpart of the wristwatch reference 3748, to which it is absolutely identical but larger. It was made in yellow and white gold, with different dial finishes matching the period dials of reference 3748. Some engraved examples are known, distinguished by the specific reference numbers 874-1, 874-2, and so on. One of the most difficult references to find on the market, so far only around 6 other examples in white gold are known from the market, none of them signed by Beyer.
