Lot Essay

The Haagse Veer was located north of Delft, just outside the city walls near the Haagpoort. It was the base for the ferry to The Hague which travelled via the Delftsche Vliet and the Haagvliet.

We are grateful to Laurens Schoemaker for his assistance in preparing this catalogue entry.
