After the engraving Venus with Cupid by Hendrick Goltzius (1558-1617) (New Hollstein 145) which is part of the series Bacchus, Venus and Ceres (New Hollstein 144-46). This meticulous copy, only depicting the head of Venus, omits Cupid and all allegorical symbols.
