The present drawing was attributed to Agostino Tassi by I.Q. van Regteren Altena, and it was exhibited as such in the 1970 exhibition. However, in his 1987 article, Alan Chong gave the drawing to a hand identified as a 'pupil of Poelenburgh (Lorenzo Barata?)'. Chong also notes that the drawings in this group are not by a single hand, but in fact by as many as three artists.
