4° (337 x 248mm). Hand-coloured lithographed title and 20 hand-coloured plates, one uncoloured lithographed advertisement, 16pp. publisher’s catalogue at end. (Advertisement with closed tear in margin just affecting border of image, mainly marginal spotting.) Original green pictorial boards and cloth spine (covers lightly soiled, extremities quite rubbed). Provenance: purchased in Paris, 1947. FIRST EDITION.
