Plates 1-5 (of 7 eventually published), hand-coloured aquatint plates by C. Turner after Frankland, tipped into an album. (Some spotting, first plate slightly discoloured, last plate with repaired tear through imprint.) Early 20th-century red half morocco gilt (extremities worn). Frankland's amateur work fails to compare with Alken, yet in this case certainly possesses an appeal of its own. As the last two plates are dated 1815, it is highly probable that this set was complete when issued in 1814. Siltzer p. 122; Schwerdt II, p. 168 (later issue).
