Broadside (345 x 213mm), listing the competitors in races on the 1st and 2nd October, the highest value plates being for sixty guineas or sixty sovereigns, contemporary manuscript notes of the winners in each race, with furthernotes on blank verso (tear to margin causing slight loss to notes on verso, old fold marks). Together with 11 similar broadsides for Chesterfield Races in the years 1833-1849, plus 5 others: Mansfield Races, 1837; Derby Races, 1845, 1846 and 1849; Rochester and Chatham Races, 1845 (severe tears to folds). All mounted or inserted in a mid 20th-century quarter green morocco album, spine lettered in gilt.
