APPARENTLY UNMARKED, PROBABLY GERMAN, EARLY 17TH CENTURY
Each chased with a mythological scene, one of Phaeton in his sun-chariot, the other of the Heliades lamenting over Phaeton’s tomb, later-mounted on walnut panels applied with nielloed borders and gilt strap-work brackets, the panels with exposed dovetails, probably
