Inlaid with boxwood stringing, the gallery with two pairs of candle-branches, the frieze flanked by a deep drawer to one side and a door to the other enclosing a later removable tray, on square tapering legs, labelled 'NORMAN ADAMS', the 'S' pattern keyholes probably original, the metalwork including the gallery replaced, restorations and replacements to the spandrels
