YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)
The set painted in pencil style in a vibrant cobalt blue with an insect hovering above tree peony at the centre, and mandarin ducks swimming in a lotus pond at the border; and a pair of soup-plates, very similar but with two pheasants at the centre
The set 8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) diam., the pair 8 ½ in. (21.6 cm.) diam.
