MARK OF JEAN-BAPTISTE-CLAUDE ODIOT, PARIS, 1798-1809
Urn-shaped raised on a circular pedestal foot, with hinged cover and a leaf-clad wood handle with acanthus and anthemion joins, the shoulders engraved with a band of laurel leaves and the lower body with wide overlapping calyx leaves, the stand with conforming decoration, marked underneath bases and cover, also with later import marks
12 ¾ in. (32.4 cm.) high; 33 oz. 10 dwt. (1,051 gr.) gross weight
