MAKER’S MARK ‘C.C.S’, ST PETERSBURG, 1779
Of tapering cylindrical form, raised on rectangular pedestal foot, with wood scroll handle, the upper body engraved with a double-headed eagle beneath an Imperial crown, the detachable domed cover with a knop finial, with chain attachment, marked on lower rim and cover, with the assaymaster's mark of Alexander Yashinov
