PROBABLY BY FRÈRES JORDAN (FL. 1790-1820), MARKED, BERLIN, CIRCA 1800, THE FLANGE STAMPED WITH INVENTORY NUMBER 6394
rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover, base and two end panels with polished gold pillars stamped at intervals with stars within opaque white enamel frames on a sablé ground, the sides with alternating opaque white and black enamel bands, the cover centred with a triangular enamel miniature depicting two children playing with a dog, in fitted red leather case
