MARK OF AUGUSTINE COURTAULD, LONDON, 1741
Baluster pear-shaped on spreading base, cast and applied with foliage scrolls and flowers and with two vacant cartouches within rocaille, the cover cast and pierced with swirling foliage and with foliage heightened reeded rim, marked underneath and on cover bezel, the foot and cover bezel further marked with French import mark, the base prick engraved with German scratchweight '1m 21 lott'
