EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Woven in wools and silks, from the series Les Comedies Italiennes Grotesques, each panel with a central foliage-wrapped oval medallion with a spray of poppies on a yellow ground, surrounded by berainesque architectural features and above a cartouche with two crossed quivers and surmounted by two birds, above two dancing monkeys, within a later cream and blue out slip, reweaving and patching

Each approximately 7 ft. 9 in. x 2 ft. 10 in. (234 cm. x 86 cm.)
